Rihanna is said to have become extremely territorial over her boyfriend Chris Brown after the R&B star cosied up to Jennifer Lopez in a Twitter photo.

The Diamonds singer is rumoured to have issued a fiery message to the Latina beauty telling her to keep her distance from the 23-year-old.

According to Now magazine, sources revealed that the Bajan beauty sent a message to the cougars team saying: "Chris is not single, nor is he ready to mingle."

Chris confirmed that he has been working with the 43-year-old and will feature on her upcoming album, telling Ryan Seacrest: "We are actually collaborating. I'm trying to get her on my album. I have a couple songs that would be incredible for her to feature on."

The Twitter snap of the pair that has apparently riled Rihanna up was taken of the singers while they were in the recording studio, in which Jennifer can be seen placing her head on Chris' shoulder.
