Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz deny feud rumors

Jennifer Lopez has insisted that she and What to Expect When You're Expecting co-star Cameron Diaz get on very well.

The actresses appeared in a joint interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where both laughed off suggestions that they frequently clashed on the film's set.

"[The press said] we wouldn't talk to each other," Diaz recalled with a grin.

Lopez replied: "I was like, 'I haven't even seen her yet! Give us a chance to get in the room'."

Diaz went on to complain that actresses are often unfairly pitted against each other by the press.

"It's always like that. They want women to be catfighting. We live in such a misogynistic, chauvinistic [world], especially the media," she declared. "[We're] always spinning women against one another."

Diaz and Lopez lead What to Expect When You're Expecting's all-star cast, which also features Elizabeth Banks, Rebel Wilson and Brooklyn Decker.

What to Expect When You're Expecting opens on Friday in US cinemas and on May 25 in the UK.

Lopez and Diaz's full chat on The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs Tuesday (May 15). John Mayer will guest on the episode as well.
