Jennifer Lopez's extortion suit against a former driver has been dismissed by a judge.

The singer filed a $20 million (Gbp12.5 million) countersuit against chauffeur Hakob Manoukian, who sued her earlier this year (12), claiming he was forced to quit over the way he was treated by his ex-boss' manager Benny Medina.

In her suit, Lopez claimed the driver had demanded $2.8 million (Gbp1.75 million) from her for his silence, insisting he'd go public with secrets he overheard while in her employ.

Manoukian's attorney filed a motion to dismiss the countersuit, claiming Lopez was trying to punish him for filing a legitimate employment lawsuit against her.

According to Tmz.com, the judge has agreed.
