Jennifer Lopez's huge demands prevent her playing 'Indian Super Bowl'?

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly lost out on the chance to play at the opening ceremony of India's Premier League cricket tournament due to her huge demands.

The singer allegedly requested a private plane and a substantial number of hotel rooms for her entourage.

A source told the New York Post: "She effectively priced herself out of the event.

"It was an idiotic move because the audience for this event is huge.

"It's like the Super Bowl halftime show. Last year, it drew 56 million viewers."

Her representative said that the singer had "an offer... to perform", but said that "the date conflicted with Jennifer's current music-recording schedule for an album due this summer".

Pitbull will perform at the tournament instead.

It was previously reported that Lopez may collaborate with Chris Brown on her new album.
