Jennifer Lopez confirms new album for 2013: 'The year is mine'

Jennifer Lopez has confirmed plans to release a new album later this year.

The singer celebrated the new year by telling her fans that she will be unveiling her tenth studio album in 2013.

"Anybody else excited about a new year starting!! I am!! #newheights #infinitepossibilities #Parker #Album10 #2013ismine #letsgetit :)" she tweeted.

So far, RedOne has confirmed that he will executive produce the record and has promised a "mix" of styles.

"I'm the executive producer of [Jennifer's] album, and we already have songs that are just incredible. It's just amazing. It's mixed [styles]. It's everything about Jennifer Lopez," RedOne told MTV News back in November.

"It's a very special album. It feels like this album, to us, has to have everything about her, not just one thing. You're going to have all the sides, kind of urban/hip-hop and the commercial, like the way she did with Ja Rule."

He added: "It's everything you love about her [including] the dance, the rhythmic, the Latin."

Lopez's new album will serve as the follow-up to 2011's Love?, which spawned the global hit 'On the Floor'.
