She can sing, dance and act rather well too, but there clearly is no end to Jennifer Lopez's talents after the pop star decided to turn her hand at baking - and ended up doing a very good job!

The star took to her Twitter page on Friday to post a photo of a big tray of delicious looking cupcakes that she had baked to celebrate her twins' birthday.

Emme and Max turned five years old on Friday and J-Lo decided to get the flour, sugar and baking tins out as she turned out several cupcakes for her children to take to school and share among their classmates.

She tweeted the picture of her in front of the tray of cakes and wrote: "Happy Birthday Coconuts!!! 5 years of joy and true love!!!#schoolcupcakes #momduties #bestfeelingever."

She decorated the pink and blue cakes with white icing, sprinkles and a flags shaped like candle-clad birthday cakes.

After the twins and their classmates had scoffed the lot - and who can blame them - J-Lo and her boyfriend Casper Smart took the twins to The Grove shopping centre in Los Angeles where they were treated to pizza and more cake, according to E! News.

A! n eyewitness said: "It was a really cute family outing. J.Lo sat at the head of the table and Casper was by her side, and her mother was with them, too. They all ate pizza and fries and were laughing and giggling with the kids.

"Casper was very hands on with the children and was entertaining them and helping Jennifer make their birthday lots of fun.

"Aside from the giggles they were very low-key and like a proper little family. It was very sweet to see."

Emme and Max are J-Lo's children from her marriage to singer Marc Anthony, from whom she split from in July 2011. They have maintained a very amiable relationship since and they share joint custody of their children.
