Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez Still Stay in Touch

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez ended their famous "Bennifer" relationship nearly 10 years ago, but the actor and filmmaker tells The Hollywood Reporter they two still keep in touch.

"We don't have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice, but we do have the kind of relationship where there will be an email saying, 'Oh, your movie looks great,'" Affleck said.

Affleck tells the trade paper, "I remember when she got "American Idol." I said, 'this was really smart. Good luck.' I touch base. I respect her. I like her. She's put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I'm really pleased to see her successful."

Their relationship ended in 2004, a year after their box office bomb "Gigli" was released.
