Jennifer Lopez 'not wearing engagement ring'
Jennifer Lopez is not engaged to her boyfriend Casper Smart, a source has insisted.
The former American Idol judge sparked speculation that Smart had proposed after she was photographed wearing a ring in Paris.
However, a source has now told People that the singer is "not even close" to a wedding.
The insider added that the jewellery is nothing more "than a pretty ring", saying: "He can't afford that ring. This ring could just be for their anniversary."
The source also suggested that it is not good timing for Lopez to be engaged at the moment.
"She's in the middle of her tour and her manager doesn't want her distracted," the insider said. "He wants her to focus, and an engagement would distract her too much."
