1000 No. 1s: Watch Jennifer Lopez Chat About Topping The Hot 100

1000 No. 1s Video Series Day 15:Jennifer Lopez Talks About Topping the Hot 100

2011 was the year that Billboard celebrated the 1000th No. 1 song on the Hot 100. As we look back on this year in music, we're celebrating that milestone with a month-long series of videos --- one for each day of December -- chatting with 31 of the hitmakers who rocketed to the top of the chart since its inception in 1958. SEE THE FULL CHART HERE.

On day 15 of our 1,000 Hot No. 1s video series, we move from yesterday's 2001 rock hit -- Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" -- to a late-20th-century pop gem as we chat with Jennifer Lopez about her 1999 No. 1, "If You Had My Love." "Still I think about that and still it's like wow, my first record I ever did went to No. 1," Lopez tells Billboard.com. "It's just an overwhelming feeling. . . This is a very special thing."
Lopez's inaugural hit, "If You Had My Love" rode to No. 1 on June 12, 1999, dethroning Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca" and going on to "Love" the top spot for five weeks.

Be sure to come back tomorrow (Dec. 16) for the next 1000 No. 1s video: Avril Lavigne talks about her No. 1, "Girlfriend."
