Beach babe Jennifer Lopez is in fighting mood

The songbird showed off her fabulous figure as she tried her hand at Capoeira in Uruguay.

The ancient discipline combines fighting with dancing and is thought to have first emerged in the 16th century.

The 42-year-old, sporting a cropped red t-shirt and tight jeans took part in the display as she filmed scenes for a new TV show.

She was joined by a host of topless male dancers in the country's capital Montevideo.

She showed off further dexterity by doing a cartwheel as well.

The programme, called Q'Viva: The Chosen, is produced by Spice Girls svengali Simon Fuller and sees Jennifer travel across South America in an attempt to unearth the continent's best performers.

Uncomfortably, a fellow host on the show is the singer's ex Marc Anthony.

In July the pair announced they had split after seven years together.

Jen is rumoured to be now dating toyboy dancer Casper Smart.
