Jennifer Lopez stylist: 'Idol' judge didn't suffer a wardrobe malfunction

JenniferLopez's stylist insists the American Idol judge didn't suffera wardrobe malfunction during Sunday night's broadcast of the 84th annual Academy Awards, despite Oscar viewers buzzing about the alleged incident on Twitter.ADVERTISEMENT

"The dress fit perfectly to every inch," Lopez's stylist Mariel Haenn told People of the singer's daring custom-made Zuhair Murad gown which featured a plunging neckline and cut-outs in the sleeves.

"While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke's on everyone who wishes they saw something!"

Speculation that Lopez had a nip-slip began circulating after she had presented an Oscar for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup onstage alongside actress Cameron Diaz. The pair had turned their backs toward the audience to presumably show off their behinds and then dramatically whipped around, resulting in an outburst of laughter over the joke.

However, according to Haenn, Lopez's dress reportedly had special built-in cups to prevent such an incident from occurring.

Video of Lopez and Diaz presenting the Oscar award together is consistent with Haenn's stance that no more skinthan intended was shown bythe Idol judge.
