Casper Smart: Is he Too Young for Jennifer Lopez?

Jennifer Lopez decided to take her new man, 24-year-old back-up dancing Caspar Smart, with her to the set of American idol while a session was being taped.

At the age of 43, Lopez is old enough to be Smarts mother. She defended their age difference by saying, I dont feel older, and I dont feel like I look it, either, so I am just acting the same way I have always acted.

Smart warmly greeted Lopezs fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler and was the brunt of a good-natured joke from host Ryan Seacrest, who pointed out Smart chatting with two pals in the audience during a commercial break.

Which of these three guys is Jennifers boyfriend? Seacrest said Or is it the one whos shorter than Ryan Seacrest? Smart was visibly embarrassed as Lopez doubled over in laughter while the audience cheered.

The embarrassment soon wore off and Lopez gazed at her new beau adoringly as they conversed with big smiles.

The couple has been dating for five months and were rumored to have wedding plans after Roberto Cavalli sent out a phony tweet. The tweet claimed Cavalli was designing a wedding dress for thrice-divorced Lopez, who split from Marc Anthony last July. A rep for Cavalli later explained the Twitter account had been hacked.

Smart and Lopez send sweet tweets to each other.

Lopez said that Casper is, Adorable. But you already see that. He really is [sweet]. Hes a good egg. I dont want to talk about it too much. Its my private thing.
