Jennifer Lopez Starts 'The J. Low' to Combat Wedding Rumors

Pacific Coast News

The Twitterverse was buzzing yesterday after "news" broke that Jennifer Lopez had asked designer Roberto Cavalli to design her fourth wedding dress.

"Today , Jenifer Lopez. Call me...... She ask me. To create a special dress. For her next weding. ! Wich color ... Do you advise me. ?" was the tweet from the designer's Twitter page.

Now, there are a few reasons why it should've been pretty darn obvious that this tweet was fake. For instance: The writing is fairly unintelligible. If you look at any other post on the designer's page, you'll notice Mr. Cavalli (well, his tweet team) can craft complete sentences and spell.

Plus, Ms. Lopez has probably learned her lesson about rushing into marriage by now. We hope. She tied the knot with backup dancer Chris Judd after a quick courtship, then she got married to Marc Anthony a few months after ending her engagement to Ben Affleck. Let's hope the fourth time around she's really, really, really sure he's THE ONE. She's only been dating 24-year-old Casper Smart for like five minutes.

Whether or not there was ever actually any confusion about the wedding dress tweet, the singer has decided to put an end to this, and all future, rumors by creating a section ! on her b log called, "The J. Low."

The first post reads:
Here's the truth now: ROBERTO CAVALLI'S TWITTER ACCOUNT was hacked. The rumor is not true. I decided there needs to be a place (The J. Low), where you can get the truth," she continued. "Using this site as my way to connect, I'll share the reality of my life right here, and make sure you never have to wonder about what is or isn't real. What I tell you is the truth, everything else is just talk. Thanks for supporting and always believing in me." Her intentions are good, but we have a feeling if Ms. Lopez is going to become Mrs. Smart, you won't hear it on her website first.
