Hicks: Jennifer Lopez dumped due to diva demands

Jennifer Lopez has gone diva again.

J-Lo's demands for performing at the opening ceremonies of India's Premier League cricket tournament -- an event the New York Post says comes with a viewing audience of 60 million people -- have taken her out of the running.

Organizers balked after receiving the singer's rider from manager Benny Medina, which asked for a private plane and a host of hotel rooms for her cadre of stylists and handlers, among other things.

Wasn't she just Jenny from the block?

Lopez isn't the first celebrity to go nutso over concert riders. According to the Huffington Post, Mariah Carey has reportedly asked for kittens and doves before. Rihanna's rider, on the other hand, seems like a simple stoner's paradise: Haribo candy, Oreos, Baybel cheese and Red Bull. Katy Perry is said to have asked for a fridge with a glass door, and Kanye West supposedly once asked for Versace towels. Jay-Z is taking a cigar roller on tour with him this summer and Iggy Pop allegedly asked for a Bob Hope impersonator at every show.

Wouldn't it be weird if Bob Hope used to ask for an Iggy Pop impersonator?

Pitbull has replaced Lopez on the bill.
