10. Anaconda

One of Jennifer Lopezs first big movies, Anaconda was a 1997 thriller with a star-packed cast including Ice Cube, Job Voight, and Owen Wilson. While the movie is one of those so-bad-it-is-good movies, we cant help but recognize Jennifer Lopez for her role, simply because only J. Lo could pull off looking that flawless while being held hostage in the Amazon.

The Back-Up Plan, Jennifers most recent movie on our list, is a 2010 movie in which Lopez plays the role of Zoe, a woman who is tired of searching for a partner and decides to go through artificial insemination. Coincidentally, on the same day of the procedure, she meets a guy and falls in love. They decide they will get married and raise the child together, but the couple finds that marriage is harder than it seems. The Back-Up Plan is a cute romantic comedy and we think J. Lo played the role perfectly.

8. Monster-In-Law

Monster-In-Law, a 2005 romantic comedy starring J. Lo, Jane Fonda, and Wanda Sykes, is a film in which Jennifer Lopezs character is getting married to a surgeon and quickly finds out that she has a mother-in-law from hell. Fonda and Lopezs c! haracters argue over typical wedding decisions, but their ability to draw the audiences attention to the big screen makes the film Monster-In-Law the number eight Jennifer Lopez movie.

7. The Wedding Planner

In typical Jennifer Lopez fashion, The Wedding Planner is another romantic comedy in which J. Lo falls in love. In this film, Lopez plays a successful wedding planner, Mary, who is trying to become a partner for a wedding planning company. To help earn her partnership, Mary is given the opportunity to plan an heiress wedding. When she meets the couple, she discovers that the groom, Matthew McConaughey, is the mysterious man who saved her from a dumpster crash. The groom denies ever meeting Mary, but as they spend more time together, the groom and wedding planner fall in love. McConaughey and Lopez play a great on-screen couple, and the film lands the number seven best Jennifer Lopez movie.

6. Shall We Dance

In the 2004 film Shall We Dance, Jennifer Lopez makes her way back to her dancing roots, in which she plays the role of a dance teacher named Paulina. In the movie, John Clark (Richard Gere), is commuting through Chicago when he notices a beautiful woman in a dance studio and immediately signs up for dance classes. Paulina and John develop a friendship and the two inspire each other to dance competitively. Jennifers beautiful dance moves and charming acting in Shall We Dance make the film the number six best Jennifer Lopez movie.

5. Maid in Manhattan

Maid in Manhattan is a 2002 romantic comedy in which Lopez plays a single mother and hotel maid, Marissa, who falls for a politician, Chris Marshall (Ralph Fiennes). At first, Marissa hides her profession from Chris, but the politician finds out that she has lied about her job and ends the relationship. However, it wouldnt be a Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy unless the two rekindled and lived h! appily ev! er after.. This predictable, yet entirely too cute, movie earns the spot as the number five top Jennifer Lopez movie.

4. Enough

Jennifer Lopezs role inEnough is unlike any other role on the list. In the film, J. Lo plays Slim, a woman who marries a rich man that turns into an abusive wife-beater. When Slim confronts her husband about a message he received from another woman, he turns abusive, causing Slim to create a plan to escape. Slim and her adorable daughter break free, only to be found by her husband, whom has ties with the police. The film had women on the edge of their seats, as the abused wife trains to defend herself against her husband. If you love women-empowering movies and have yet to catch this film, Enough is one of those movies that you can always catch on the womans Lifetime Network.

3. The Cell

Keeping with her theme of straying away from romantic comedies in the early 2000s, Jennifer Lopez stars in the 2000 science fiction film The Cell. The film is about a child psychologist named Catherine Deane, played by Lopez, who is able to enter the mind of patients. She is approached by FBI Agent Novak, played by Vince Vaughan, to help find a serial killers latest victim by entering the mind of the killer. She enters the killer's mind, but is confronted by violent images inside his head. The Cell is unlike any other Jennifer Lopez film and shows Lopezs versatility of acting capabilities.With that, J. 2. Selena

Selena is a 1997 film in which Jennifer Lopez plays Mexican-American music superstar Selena Quintanilla-Prez. The movie shows the life of the recording actress who struggles with problems like family issues and hiding her love for her guitar player. As Selenas success continues, she gains more recognition and money. The stars life comes to a tragic end when she! confronts! her fan-club president, Yolanda, about stolen money and Yolanda shoots Selena dead. Selena was Jennifer Lopezs breakout role, which earned her worldwide recognition and, honestly, can you think of anyone better to play the role of Selena?! Selena, without doubt, deserves the number two spot of best Jennifer Lopez movies.

1. Out Of Sight

Although Out of Sight isnt one of J. Los best-known films, it is arguably Jennifer Lopezs best-reviewed film. Out of Sight is a 1998 film about Jack Foley, a bank robber played by George Clooney, and Karen Sisco, a US Marshal played by Jennifer Lopez. After Foley escapes prison, Sisco chases after Foley and discovers Foleys plan to steal uncut diamonds. Maybe its the on-screen chemistry that a young Lopez and Clooney share, or maybe it is the way J. Lo displays sophistication, but it is probably the badass acting, that makes Jennifer Lopezs role in Out of Sight the top Jennifer Lopez movie.
