Hot or Not: Jennifer Lopez's Golden 'Idol' Getup

Watch out, Hammer pants coming through. (ZimbioTV) Jennifer Lopez has made American Idol her own personal runway show, donning sparkling silver Lanvin skirts and risqu Herv Lger minidresses to pass judgment on this year's crop of Kelly Clarkson wannabes.

Normally we're all about the Fly Girl fashion show, but last night Lopez hit the Idol stage wearing an eye-searing gold ensemble that featured a belly-baring Temperley London sequined jacket and a pair of harem pants that would definitely have old school Project Runway Michael Kors quipping, "The crotch on that pants is insane."

We love the over-the-top glamour that J.Lo has brought to American Idol, but last night's look is a bit too Solid Gold meets MC Hammer meets Goldfinger arch villianess Gert Frobe. Which is to say that it was totally crazy, and not necessarily in the good way. But what do you think?
