Jennifer Lopez will announce her first ever world tour next week, according to reports.

The singer is expected to confirm the worldwide jaunt as soon as Monday (April 16), following the release of her new single 'Dance Again' in the US last week.

Lopez will allegedly perform over 60 dates across the globe and plans to start the tour in South America this June, reports Celebuzz.

"J Lo and her team have blocked out more than a month of their schedules, beginning May 4, to start intense rehearsals, each day, at a sound stage in the Los Angeles area," a source said.

"This will be a huge tour, complete with a lavish set, full band and team of dancers."

The insider added that Lopez's current boyfriend and dancer Casper Smart will choreograph the show.

The jaunt is expected to include dates in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. However, the majority of the shows have yet to be booked and confirmed.

Lopez is heavily rumoured to have been working on her Greatest Hits collection, which could possibly coincide with her first ever world tour.
