Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony "working together" on divorce settlement

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have vowed to work together to reach an agreeable divorce settlement.

The former couple announced their separation in July 2011 after seven years of marriage. Anthony officially filed for divorce in March 2012.

Lopez and Anthony will reportedly continue on amicable terms in order to find the best settlement and custody arrangement for their two children, 4-year-old twins Max and Emme.

"The parties are working together to reach a friendly resolution that's in the best interest of their children," Lopez's family law attorney Ron Anteau explained to People.

An insider also shot down rumours that Anthony is planning to delve into Lopez's financial accounts, telling the publication: "He's not seeking financial support from her in this divorce. Never has, never will. This is about trying to figure out how best for two very busy parents to share their children."

It was recently suggested that Lopez turned down a reconciliation with Anthony in favour of staying with c! urrent b oyfriend Casper Smart.
