Jennifer Lopez to release 'Dance Again' greatest hits album next month, unveils tracklist (Video)

The compilation will feature past hits and two previously unreleased tracks.

Pop singer and actress Jennifer Lopez will release her first compilation album, Dance Again... The Hits, on July 24. Her latest promotional song with rapper Pitbull, also titled Dance Again, serves as the lead single of this hits set.

Lopez revealed the news on her Twitter account on Tuesday by posting a link to the official album announcement on her website. It was there she also alluded to the album's other new track, Goin' In, with rapper Flo Rida. The song will serve as the lead single for the upcoming film, Step Up Revolution.

The release of this album sums up Lopez's 13 year music career and represents a lot for the pop singer. This album is full of memories. This music journey has been amazing, she wrote in the record's announcement on her website. The standard edition of the album features 13 tracks, including Lopez's 1999 breakthrough single, If You Had My Love. Other songs featured on the album are the J. Lo standard, Jenny from the Block, dawn of the 2000s smash, Waiting for Tonight, and recent hit, On the Floor. The surprisingly short tracklist leaves out songs like Play and I'm Gonna Be Alright.

Her number one hit with rapper LL Cool J, All I Have, is a track on the deluxe edition of Hits along with Qu Hiciste, which was a foray for the Latina artist into Spanish music. A DVD of music videos is another addition to the deluxe version. At least one song from Lopez's past eight studio albums is included in this compilation set, even from her under-performing Brave album! with in clusion of the hit song, Do It Well.

Lopez just wrapped her second season as a judge on American Idol and it is still unknown if she will sign on for an additional third season. Her most recent studio album, Love?, peaked at number five last year on the Billboard albums chart. She is hitting the road soon with co-headliner Enrique Iglesias and reggaeton rappers Wisin y Yandel on a North American tour.
