Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart threaten to sue over false magazine claims

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart arent taking Life & Style and Star magazines recent cover stories lightly.

The magazines claim that Smart visited a gay sex club, a popular place men visit for quick hookups, TMZ reports. Now, Lopez and Smart are reportedly willing to sue the magazines for defamation of character and that the reports are "false, malicious and defamatory" and will cause "immense damage" to their careers and reputation.

Photos of Smart outside of the club were published in the magazines and now the couple's lawyers, Shawn Holley and Howard Weitzman, are teaming up to take action against both mags.

According to Celebuzz, Smart wasnt visiting the gay sex club, but instead, getting a haircut at a neighboring barbershop. An employee of the barbershop confirms, He came that day to get a haircutat our barbershop.

The lawyers have sent a letter demanding that both magazines write a retraction or face legal action.
