Rumors about divorcing divas Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, for instance, are so rampant a tabloid could devote an entire issue reporting so-called "reasons" for the split.
As with any divorce, there probably was not one pivotal event or annoying behavior that caused Lopez to declare, "I don't." Yet that doesn't stop the media or fans from proclaiming "he was a control freak" or "she's dating Diddy again."

Anthony was a control freak: InRumor.com found a source who revealed Anthony wanted veto power over his wife's wardrobe. Anthony had fling with flight attendant: Us magazine reported Anthony had an affair with a flight attendant in 2009 that almost busted up his marriage, but that Lopez gave him another chance. "They went to marriage counseling and she decided to give it another shot. He was s! omeone s he truly loved," an "insider" explained.
Anthony feared J.Lo would cheat: Weighing in on the divorce rumors, the Daily Beast attempted to add some scholarly panache to the divorce rumors, conjecturing the less attractive Anthony was jealous and feared "what scholars call 'mate poaching.'"
Lopez repeating romantic history: The cool beauty is warming up with old flames Ben Affleck and Diddy, according to some anonymous sources. A website called MediaTakeOut.com landed the "exclusive" scoop that Jennifer Lopez rendezvoused with Diddy in a private room at Phillipe Chow, an elite New York eatery. Meanwhile, OK magazine announced the imminent return of Bennifer. The compelling evidence: "They're talking . . they've spoken more than once."
Anthony chomping for second chance: A Perez Hillton headline shouts "Marc Is 'Begging' Jennifer To 'Take Him Back'!" -- quoting an insider who reveals, ""His mood shifts from blaming her to begging her to take him back to telling her she is destroying his life." The source describes Anthony's strategy as "prolonging" every part of the divorce to give Judge Jenny more time to "reconsider" her decision.
