Jennifer Lopez FIAT ad not filmed in the Bronx

Jennifer Lopez did not film her new FIAT ad in the Bronx as advertised, it has been revealed.

The Smoking Gun reported earlier this week that the singer and American Idol judge, who appeared in the car commercial promoting her native neighbourhood, used a body double for the on-location shots.

Lopez herself was shot inside a FIAT 500 at a studio in Los Angeles and superimposed in the final product by digital production studio Big Block to appear as though she was actually in the New York City neighbourhood.

A spokesperson for FIAT confirmed the report, telling Japonik: "Both FIAT commercials featuring Jennifer Lopez were indeed filmed in the Bronx as well as outside locations. In today's world, people are increasingly mobile and their work takes them to a variety of locations.

"As a result, we took the opportunity to film wherever Ms Lopez was working at the time to accommodate her schedule."

Lopez's alleged boyfriend Casper Smart was recently charged for speeding and forced to pay $26,000 bail, according to reports.

Lopez is lately said to have hooked up with estranged husband Marc Anthony at a Puerto Rican hotel.
