Jennifer Lopez signs on for 'Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?' movie

Jennifer Lopez has signed on to create a movie based on the computer game, "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?"

According to Deadline, the singer and Walden Media acquired rights to create the live-action film and though Lopez has signed on to produce, there are rumors that she would also star as Carmen Sandiego.

"Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?" follows ACME detective Carmen Sandiego who goes rogue to become the world's greatest thief. Her former partner tries to follow clues to track her down, but is left wondering whether she's really a thief or if she's actually a hero.

The geographically educational computer game was turned into an animated TV series of the same name. According t! o Deadli ne, "Carmen Sandiego" is used as an educational tool in more than half of the country's elementary schools.

Lopez recently finished filming "What To Expect When You're Expecting," which stars Cameron Diaz. She will also return as a judge on "American Idol" when the music competition returns for its eleventh season.

Lopez, who split from her husband Marc Anthony in July, told Glamour magazine that she's learned a lot about love recently. Lopez, 42, and Anthony, 43, did not specify a reason for the split. The two married in June 2004 and their twin son and daughter, Max and Emme, were born in February 2008.

The actress was recently spotted with actor Bradley Cooper but the two have not commented on the nature of their relationship.

"I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye," Lopez told Glamour. "You know the media -- they want to rush everything."

The Bronx-born beauty also recently launched a fall 2011 collection for Kohl's department stores. Clothes from the line went on sale on September 7. The performer has already achieved fashion acclaim with her JLO by Jennifer Lopez and JustSweet lines.
