What in the world ever happened to Carmen Sandiego? Jennifer Lopez may have gone looking for Waldo, but she found where in the world Carmen Sandiego has been hiding lo these many years. Before you get into that whole Carmen is a Hispanic name and Jennifer Lopez is Hispanic so that must mean she's going to play the computer game heroine, take a breath.

At present, Jennifer Lopez has plans only to produce the movie. If you can remember anything at all about "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" it is most likely that exceptionally catchy theme song. The song is great and you can start placing bets that if Ms. Lopez is not going to play Carmen, she will at least dress up the theme song for a 21st century ride up the charts.

All of which bodes well for Jennife! r Lopez to finally find a project that may get her back some of the good grace she misplaced in Hollywood during that whole ill-fated Benifer period of her life.

No word at all a target date, story or even an actress to take on the role of the world traveler. About the only thing you can be confident of is that it is highly implausible that Carmen Sandiego will be played by Jennifer Garner.
