Despite constant rumours of a pending marriage surrounding Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart's relationship, it's been reported there will be no trip down aisle until the backing dancer can fully provide for his superstar girlfriend.

Casper is said to be eager to wed the Latina beauty and will pop the question soon but wants to make sure he is "pullling his weight" before he bends down on one knee.

"He's telling his friends and family that he is going to propose soon," a source told In Touch magazine.

"He wants to marry her, and she's told him that she's ready, even though this would be her fourth marriage."

The couple have been fending off engagement rumours for the last few months after J-Lo was spotted wearing a massive diamond on her ring finger.

According to sources, Casper, who is currently accompanying the 'On The Floor' singer on her worldwide tour will focus on a new business venture as soon as their performances are over.

"He wants to pull his own weight [financially]," the insider explained. "So when they get back to L.A. after h! er world tour, he's going to work on getting a new business off the ground."
