It's always hard when parents divorce, but former A-list couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have definitely opted for the ultimate modern family approach. And it seems as if regular Skype dates are just what the pair's four-year-old twins need to keep in touch with their dad.

In a recent interview with Hello magazine, J Lo explained that, after splitting with hubby of seven years Marc Anthony, their young children Max and Emme keep in touch with their father by using an online video chat service:

''They obviously miss him but they Skype with him a lot and between here and there he tries to make time to see them.

''It's tough for all of us, but it's just the way it is - we take it day by day and so far we're getting along OK.'

"Your kids are the number one thing."

Jennifer Lopez - who is now in a relationship with Casper Smart - told Katie Couric in an interview on US TV that, despite the divorce, she still gets on with the father of her children:

"We're [her and Marc] are doing good, and we're proud of that and how we've handled this."

"You never want to break up a family. That wasn't my dream... but you feel it's the better choice. We have love for each other and always will."

It sounds like Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez are doing everything they can to ensure they're both there for their children - well done!
