Jennifer Lopez 'really happy' for Ben Affleck's Golden Globes success [VIDEO]

The former "American Idol" judge didn't find the Golden Globes too awkward.

Everyone secretly wanted the camera to cut to Jennifer Lopez when her ex-fiance Ben Affleck referenced his career low point -- probably right around "Gigli" -- during his Golden Globes acceptance speech Sunday.

Instead, Lopez addressed the moment in a sit-down interview with Ellen DeGeneres, who asked what it was like to meet up with former flames at Hollywood gatherings like the Globes (Lopez's exes Bradley Cooper and Diddy were also there).

"I see them a lot. We're in the same business. We run in the same circles," Lopez explained.

Ellen also noted that Lopez stood up for her ex when he received the award.

It was nice to see him have that moment. I was really happy for him, Lopez said.

They were really hard on us in the press when we dated back in the day. On movies and things like that. So it was a nice moment, she added.

Lopez also said she missed working as a judge on "American Idol" -- it's new season premieres Wednesday night.
