The 43-year-old singer and actress, who has recently spoken out about her relationship with toyboy Casper Smart, looked slightly mad when she was spotted in scruffy clothes with a pet dog outside the Jimmy Kimmel Live studios last night.

Looking happy nevertheless with her boxer puppy in her arms, Jennifer showed off her new addition to the family after Casper Smart had announced their new pet on his Twitter profile.

But the pup didn't have time to take a nap or get to grips with his new surroundings as he was taken for a walk, or a carry, straight to the Jimmy Kimmel studios.

Jen was seen making her way into the Los Angeles studios with Bear, the pup, safely tucked under one arm.
